Ginetta and Duqueine lift the veil on their new LM P3

Ginetta and Duqueine Engineering unveiled their new LM P3 in the pit lane of the Sarthe circuit, this Friday June 14 at Le Mans. The two prototypes will notably be eligible for the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), the Michelin Le Mans Cup and the Ultimate Cup Series from the 2020 season.

The Ginetta LM P3, nicknamed G61-LT-P3, has a design inspired by the LM P1, according to the British designers. The Nissan V8 engine in its VK56 version, used by the future Ligier JS P320, is placed under the rear cover. The power delivered is 450 horsepower.

The pilot will benefit from a new ventilation system in the cockpit. “We are proud to have paved the way for LM P3 (in 2015), specifies Ginetta's boss, Lawrence Tomlinson. The G61-LT-P3 chassis was created by our team dedicated to LM P1 with the objective of winning titles. »

On the Duqueine Engineering side, a first visual was released in the press kit distributed to the media in the press room. The prototype, called D08, will be equipped with the two Nissan blocks, the VK56 and VK50 version, with an innovative design thanks to a horizontal blade on the front.
