Jonathan Aberdein joins United Autosports

Passed by tourism and DTM, first with Team WRT then BMW, after his years car, Jonathan aberdein will discover a new discipline in 2021 with endurance.

The South African pilot will indeed evolve on the scene ofELMS, by joining the stable United Autosports by Zak Brown and Richard Dean. Aberdein will support Phil Hanson, crowned in 07, and Tom Gamble, titled in LM P22, in the No. 2020 Oreca 3.

“We have completed the crew with an excellent driver, who I know will quickly become familiar with LM P2, believes Richard Dean. Phil, who now has so much experience with prototypes, and Tom, who knows the ELMS well, will be there to help Jonathan settle into the team.

I am convinced that all three will get along wonderfully and that they will all fight up front in the first meeting in Barcelona. »

The 2021 ELMS season must indeed begin in Catalonia next April subject to maintaining the current calendar revealed by the organizers.
