The ELMS publishes its entry list

One week and one day after WEC et Le Mans, L?ELMS she also reveals her entry list, which includes 13 LMP2s, 5 GTE Pros, 2 GTE Ams and 1 GTC. This is the basis of a list set to grow, since around 35 competitors are expected at the start of each event.

The new premier category of the series, the LMP2 looks great with 13 units, 12 teams, 7 nationalities, 5 chassis manufacturers and 2 engine manufacturers. The fight for the title promises to be tough. Reigning LMP2 champion and winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Greaves Motorsport is obviously among the favorites for its own succession, especially since it will be able to rely on a quality trio associating the speedy Spanish Lucas Ordoñez with the British Tom Kimber-Smith and Alex Brundle. Performing last year, Thiriet by TDS Racing and Boutsen Ginion Racing will also aim for the crown, just like Race Performance which has just enlisted the services of the Swiss Jonathan Hirschi, or even Pecom Racing, which has for its leaves recruited Soheil Ayari. And what about Oak Racing, which is definitely on all fronts with its Morgan Judds? Finally, you will have to keep an eye on Sébastien Loeb Racing, the good surprise of this entry list. The Alsatian team will indeed enter an Oreca 03-Nissan in the premier category in addition to its Oreca 09 FLM in LMPC (see here).

The FLM tests initially scheduled at Paul-Ricard having had to be canceled due to snowfall, the entrants in LMPC should only be known at the end of the next session, which will be held on February 23 and 24. But between six and eight Formula Le Mans are expected over the entire season.

Still at the forefront last year, the Ferrari 458 from JMW Motorsport will start as the big favourite, but will have to be wary of the Belgian Porsche 997 GT3 RSR from Prospeed Compétition.

First meeting, the official tests at Paul-Ricard on March 9 and 10. First race, the 6 Hours of Le Castellet, on the same route, on April 1st.
