Marino Sato and Filip Ugran join Ben Hanley in the No. 22 United Autosports Oreca for the 2024 European season Le Mans Series. The Romanian, who played in WEC this year with Prema, will be a newcomer to the team while Sato already represented the Anglo-American team this year in this championship with three victories and a vice-championship place with Phil Hanson and Oliver Jarvis.

« The European Le Mans Series season promises to be fantastic with the LM P2 Pro starting grid doubled to 14 participants, including Ben Hanley, Marino Sato and Filip Ugran, who form an extremely competitive team.", says Richard Dean, CEO of United Autosports,

« A big thank you to everyone around me for their constant support and to the team for believing in me, Sato expresses. I am very happy to be back in ELMS, especially with United Autosports, and happy to add this championship to my calendar, alongside my WEC campaign with United and McLaren (in LMGT3. Editor’s note). The field is very tough with a few new teams and a large number of renowned drivers, but we are ready to give everything. We narrowly missed out on winning the title last season, so the target is very clear for us. We can't wait to get started! »

« I am very excited to join United Autosports, which has a strong track record in the European Le Mans Series, rejoices Ugran. My teammates Ben and Marino both have experience winning ELMS, so I'm going to make the most of this opportunity, learn everything I can from them and hopefully have a great season together with No. 22! »

Two other Oreca will be fielded by United Autosports in ELMS in 2024: the No. 23 in LM P2 with only Filipe Albuquerque confirmed so far and the No. 21 in LM P2 Pro-Am with Daniel Schneider, Andrew Meyrick and Oliver Jarvis .
