Pescarolo shines at the 6 Hours of Estoril

Henri Pescarolo can celebrate his birthday with the victory of Emmanuel Collard and Julien Jousse at the 6 Hours of Estoril. Rebellion Racing wins the Teams title by taking second place with the Lola B10/60 Coupe-Toyota by Belicchi-Boullion. The two crews battled for victory for a long time but the crew of the No. 16 managed to maintain the advantage. La Lola n°12 by Nicolas Cheers and Neel Jani lost more than an hour in the pits following a gearbox problem and finished deep in the standings.

The Oreca 03-Nissan of TDS Racing from Beche-Thiriet-Firth narrowly won the victory. The Boutsen Energy Oreca led the category until it retired on the very last lap of the race. The Nissan Z11SN-Nissan of Kimber-Smith-Ojjeh-Lombard therefore takes 2nd position ahead of the Norma M200P-Judd of Breyner-Rosier-Breyner. If Greaves Motorsport secures the LMP2 title, a podium for Extreme Limite AM Paris is also an exceptional result for the team.

The GTE Pro category will have offered breathtaking suspense. There Ferrari 458 Italia of Robert Bell and James Walker (JMW Motorsport) won by only a tenth ahead of the Porsche 911 by Richard Lietz and Marc Lieb (Team Felbermayr Proton)! In GTE Am, victory once again went to the Raymond Narac-Nicolas Armindo duo, who easily won ahead of the F430 of Christodoulou-Quaife-Hummel (CRS Racing).
