The French team has yet to announce the next drivers who will form the crews for the two cars.

“It’s truly incredible to participate in the ELMS and the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the team led by a former winner of the Monaco Grand Prix and I can’t wait to discover and take my first laps in LMP2 with the Ligier. It will be a very important and special experience for me to participate in the most important endurance events of next year, accumulating the program IMSA and ELMS. I can only thank once again, our partners, my family and all those who believe in our success”, comments the new recruit.

“I had the opportunity to appreciate his qualities for fighting on the track and his constant speed during meetings in Formula 3.5 (when I accompanied my son Aurélien), adds Team Principal Olivier Panis. He is a driver who already has a great track record in distinct categories and there is no doubt that a great new sporting page will be written with him at our side. Thanks to the work of the team and our drivers over the past three years, we are better and better equipped to fight at the front. Welcome to the René family! »
