If Henrik Hedman and Ben Hanley were expected in all the rounds of the 2021 European season Le Mans Series on the Oreca 07 operated by the DragonSpeed structure, the third driver remained to be known for the opening round in Barcelona (April 18).
It will ultimately be the American Ricky Taylor, who just won the 24 Hours of Daytona at the start of the year with Wayne Taylor Racing, who will return to a popular LM P2 category during the 24 2019 Hours of Le Mans.
Champion IMSA in title (with Acura Team Penske), Taylor will compete with Hedman and Hanley in LM P2 Pro-Am.
