Still in good spirits in free practice, United Autosports confirmed its good intentions this morning by setting the best time in the second session, on the Paul-Ricard circuit.
Thanks to a lap completed in 1'38"921, the No. 32 of Job van Uitert-Will Owen-Alex Brundle took over in first place from the No. 22 of Filipe Albuquerque-Phil Hanson, third this morning. Between the two Oreca 07s of the Anglo-American entity, we find the Aurus 01 n°26 of G-Drive Racing, from Nyck de Vries-Mikkel Jensen-Roman Rusinov.
The leading fifth is completed by the #07 DragonSpeed 21 entrusted to Memo Rojas-Ben Hanley-Ryan Cullen and the #07 Panis Racing 31 at the wheel of which we find Julien Canal, Nico Jamin and Will Stevens.
Reigning champion, IDEC Sport (Chatin-Lafargue-Bradley) is eighth, 1”1 behind the reference mark, behind High Class Racing (Fjordbach-Andersen) and Cool Racing (Stone-Coigny-Borga), respectively sixth and seventh.
In LM P3, it was a Duqueine D08 which set the reference time, the no. 4 from DKR Engineering driven by Laurents Hörr-François Kirmann-Wolfgang Triller. Two Ligier JS P320s follow, the No. 11 of Eurointernational (Erdos-Hoogenboom) and the No. 8 of Realteam Racing (Garcia-Droux).
Finally, theAston Martin Vantage AMR n°98 of Paul Dalla Lana-Mathias Lauda-Ross Gunn distinguished itself in GTE by beating the Porsche 911 RSR n°93 from Fassbender-Lietz-Laser and the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n°60 entered by Iron Lynx for Schiavoni-Pianezzola-Piccini.
