12 hours of Sebring – H+3: Porsche takes advantage of an FCY to take the lead

The Cadillacs have ceded control of these 12 hours from Sebring. If the two Caddies easily controlled the race, a third Full Course Yellow disrupted their progress and after the pit stops, the Porsche #7 of Dane Cameron came out ahead of the two V-Series.Rs, with the #31 of Jack Aitken ahead of the #01 of Scott Dixon.

A stranger strategy for the #25 BMW of Maxime Martin, who stopped two laps later than the rest of the peloton and who came out in 10th place in the GTP category.

LM P2

After Luís Pérez Companc's accident with the #88 Oreca Richard Mille AF Corse a little earlier in the race, Lilou Wadoux encountered a mechanical problem which forced the Frenchwoman to stop at the side of the track and exit of his mount: it is abandonment for the Franco-Italian team.

United Autosports is still leading the LM P2 category, but with the #22 now: Bijoy Garg leads the pack ahead of the sister car, the #2 driven by Ben Keating.

GTD Pro / GTD

In the GTD Pro, the #77 AO Racing “Roxy” Porsche is in the lead with Michael Christensen at the wheel, ahead of the #1 Paul Miller Racing BMW. Indy Dontje leads the GTD category aboard the Mercedes Winward Racing n°57.

The No. 43 Andretti Porsche spun, while the Ferrari AF Corse n°21 of François Heriau was hit by the Acura n°66 of Katherine Legge at the first corner. The Frenchman, immobilized for a few seconds, was able to leave, while the American was penalized with a drive-through.
