12 hours of Sebring – H+5: Confusion at Cadillac, Acura in the lead

Leading at the end of the fourth hour, the No. 31 Cadillac lost big during a Full Course Yellow. While the pit lane was closed, Jack Aitken entered it by mistake. The Action Express Racing team avoided a penalty by asking its driver to exit without stopping. The Englishman finally made his stop a little later, falling from first to seventh place.

After the second Cadillac, the #01, stopped, Nick Yelloly inherited the lead with the #25 BMW. The Briton was nevertheless overtaken as soon as the race restarted by Filipe Albuquerque (Acura n°10).

The Acura, the BMW and the Porsche n°7, third, all stopped before the previous Full Course Yellow.
