Preparation work continues for Acura. After Paul-Ricard or even Magny-Cours more recently, the American branch of Honda has set up its marquee at Daytona to carry out its first tests on the track where the ARX-06 LMDh will make its competition debut next year.

En Floride, Acura a collaboré avec le Wayne Taylor Racing, l’un des deux exploitants de l’ARX-06 LMDh, la 2e revenant au Meyer Shank Racing. Sur place, où Porsche avait également répondu présent, le WTR a travaillé durant deux journées, y roulant même dans des conditions nocturnes continuant ainsi à se « prepare for both the introduction of the GTP category in 2023 and the upcoming 2022 finale (At IMSA, Little Le Mans October 1). »

See you at Daytona in 2023

If the LMDh are authorized to take part in the rounds of the WEC this year, Wayne Taylor Racing and Meyer Shank Racing preferred not to try their luck. Both entities are fully focused on IMSA and the 24 2023 Hours of Daytona (January 26-29).

« She is very beautiful, Felipe Albuquerque recently told us. I can't wait to see it in the Wayne Taylor Racing livery, it will look even better! It is more imposing than the DPI, but this is due to the new regulations. The difference is impressive. We can see this from year to year to Formula 1 with a greater wheelbase distance, which makes sense, as it gives more stability."
