Aston Martin and TRG are joining forces to run the Vantage GTE, V12 Vantage GT3 and V8 Vantage GT4 in North American disciplines in 2013. The Vantage GTE, which will compete next season in ALMS, will be unveiled at the winter tests of the discipline held on February 7 and 8 at Sebring before the 12 Hour race. The V12 Vantage GT3 will compete in Grand-Am and the Pirelli World Challenge Series. The V8 Vantage GT4 will be present in a single-brand category.
TRG represents good support for the British manufacturer. The Californian team notably won the 24 Hours of Daytona, 24 Hours of Le Mans, at Petit Le Mans and also has two Grand-Am titles. “We are delighted with this innovative partnership with TRG which presents real potential across a number of competitions”, comments John Gaw, director of management of Aston Martin Racing. “In TRG we have an established sports partner who knows how to be competitive and successful and who will help us achieve new successes in American motorsport. »
