Considered one of the best drivers of his generation in GT3, with most of the major races and championships under his belt (24 Hours of Spa, 24 Hours of Nürburgring, FIA GT World Cup Macau, GT World Challenge Europe, Intercontinental GT Challenge, etc.), Laurens Vanthoor now mainly officiates in GTE at Porsche Motorsport.

Champion IMSA GTLM in 2019 with his accomplice Earl Bamber, Laurens Vanthoor also pinned the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2018, with Kévin Estre and Michael Christensen.
