Co-developed between Cadillac Racing and Dallara, the prototype presents a futuristic design while recalling the stylistic codes of the Detroit firm. Above all, it is adorned with a classic rear spoiler, unlike the first 3D renderings released in 2021!
« Although the new racing car takes into account the regulations IMSA and ACO, Cadillac brand characteristics will be instantly recognizable, many of which are seen on our V-Series vehicles today, said Chris Mikalauskas, the lead exterior design manager.
Elements of the brand's DNA, such as vertical lighting and floating blades, will also be present. »
Project GTP is due to compete in IMSA from the 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January 2023 and return to La Sarthe for the first time in 21 years in June 2023, during the centenary edition.
