Franck Perera will compete in the Endurance Cup with GRT

After triumphing in GTD at the 24 Hours of Daytona (2018 and 2019) and the 12 Hours of Sebring (2019), Grasser Racing Team will think bigger in 2020. Gottfried Grasser's structure has confirmed the entry of a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo on the wholeEndurance Cup in IMSA.

The 6 Hours of Watkins Glen (New York) and Petit will therefore be added to the menu Le Mans (Georgia), with the French as a bridgehead Franck Perera, winner at Daytona in 2018 with GRT, and official driver of Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The former resident of the fold Toyota F1 will be joined by Steijn Schothorst and Richard Heistand over the entire campaign, when Albert Costa, who competed for Emil Frey Racing in 2019 (with Huracan GT3 Evos in GT Open) will support the trio at Daytona.

GRT will therefore field a second car with the one already formalized under the Girl Empowerment Aroud Racing banner, with Christina Nielsen and Katherine Legge starting for the year in IMSA, and assisted by Tatiana Calderon and Ana Beatriz for Daytona.

“After winning twice at Daytona, we have fielded an incredibly strong crew for this season, comments Gottfried Grasser. We will do everything possible to achieve success again for Lamborghini in the United States.

I am particularly happy to field another car in the Endurance Cup with the GEAR Racing by GRT car. We are really looking forward to competing in all the classics like the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, the 6 Hours at Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans. »
