H+3: Pedro Lamy escapes

The Lola-Judd n°8 of Drayson Racing, which got in between the two Peugeot during the first hour of the race, disappeared from the front since Emanuele Pirro gave up his wheel. The British car, driven by Jonny Cocker, is fourth after three hours of racing, having left third place to?Aston Martin No. 007, driven by Stefan Mücke.

Overall, everything is going well for Peugeot. Sebastian Bourdais gave the wheel to Pedro Lamy along with first place. The Portuguese was able to increase his lead over the No. 908 Peugeot 07 HDi FAP of Marc Gené, before the Spaniard handed over to Anthony Davidson, new recruit of the French manufacturer. Without any real competition, Peugeot is therefore leading the race, as expected, and the strategy applied to the 908 No. 08, which started on medium tires, has borne fruit.

En GT2, la bagarre prévue est bien au rendez-vous. La première heure de course a été très agitée entre les Porsche, Corvette et BMW et, après trois heures, c?est finalement la Ferrari F430GT No. 62 from Risi Competizione, with Jaime Melo, Pierre Kaffer and Gianmaria Bruni, who is in the lead.
