IMSA – Action Express and Ford win at Mosport

It was true domination that the Action Express Racing team indulged in on the Canadian Mosport track. The No. 31 Corvette DP of the Cameron – Curran pair led 66 of the 125 laps of the race this Sunday to achieve a first success in 2016 at the end of a race concluded under Full Course Yellow.

The duo is ahead of their Barbosa – Fittipaldi teammates at the checkered flag, who got the better of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP. The Corvette DPs achieve a quadruple with the No. 90 of Dalziel – Goossens preceding the Mazda of Long – Miller.

In GTLM, Ford wins for the third time in a row with the No. 67 Ford GT from Briscoe – Westbrook, who benefited from an excellent refueling strategy, recalling the No. 67 during a neutralization, while most of the other competitors made their stop under a green flag. Despite additional fuel, the Briscoe – Westbrook duo won ahead of the No. 7 Corvette C4.R of Gavin – Milner and the second No. 7 C3.R of Magnussen –Garcia.

CORE Autosport in PC and Turner Motorsport in GTD, with the first victory of a BMW M6 GT3 in the championship are the other winners of the Canadian event.
