IMSA – The DeltaWing skips the 24 hours of Daytona

The DeltaWing will no longer be seen in competition. If the organizers of theIMSA offered Don Panoz's team to enter their prototype one last time at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) on January 28 and 29, the team declined the invitation in order to concentrate on its GT4 project with the Avezano.

“We have decided not to compete in the 24 2017 Hours of Daytona, the team announced. These four years of competing with the most innovative car on the track have been incredible. Don Panoz has decided to focus our efforts on other projects concerning Panoz and DeltaWing. »

The DeltaWing DWC13 ended its career by taking 36th place in Petit Le Mans with Sean Rayhall, Andy Meyrick and Katherine Legge.
