IMSA – Olivier Pla, test benchmark at Sebring
Best time in the third of the four sessions organized, Olivier Pla leaves Sebring Raceway with the best time of the week, making an impression a little less than a month before the 64th edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring (March 19), second handle of theIMSA SportsCar Championship. Entered in the Michael Shank Racing Ligier JS P2-Honda, which he shares with Ozwaldo Negri Jr and John Pew, the Toulouse driver completed a lap of the Florida track in 1'51"546.
« The track looks very different compared to last year, so we are trying different things from a setup point of view, explained the main person concerned. I don't think it's possible to learn anything from last year, so we are working very hard in preparation for the race. Yesterday (Thursday. As a reminder, last year, Olivier Pla took pole position in 1'51"152. On the cumulative time sheet, this week he was 0 ahead of DragonSpeed's Oreca 115-Nissan, on which Henrik Hedman, Nicolas lapierre and Nicolas Minassian.
