IMSA and ESM will lose their title sponsor

Tequila Patron will no longer be present at the events of theIMSA in 2019. The beverage brand announced that it would no longer be the title sponsor of the American discipline as well as that of the Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports team which is entering two Nissan Onroak DPi. This withdrawal accompanies that of the director of Tequila Patron Ed Brown who also served as pilot.

Extreme Speed ​​Motorsport has confirmed that the withdrawal of its title sponsor will not prevent it from continuing in IMSA. Both of his cars are outside the Top 10 in the Championship.
