Maro Engel at Daytona with HTP Winward

Great first. On January 30, HTP Winward will make its first start at the 24 Hours of Daytona. On the Florida track at the end of the month, the German team will line up a Mercedes-AMG GT3 (No. 57) in the GTD category of theIMSA.

Maro Engel will spearhead a four-driver crew also made up of Russell Ward, Indy Dontje and Philip Ellis.

« Our first participation in the 24 Hours of Daytona is really special for us, admits Russell Ward, crew member and Team Principal. The objective is to have a good pace and avoid blocking the path of the prototypes (…) We are very motivated and can't wait to start the race ».
