Petit Le Mans – H3: Cadillac still at the forefront

The No. 01 Cadillac still dominates the debates at Petit Le Mans with now Scott Dixon installed at the wheel. He is ahead of another DPi from the Detroit (Michigan) firm, the No. 5 JDC Miller MotorSports driven by Richard Westbrook. Helio Castroneves completes the provisional podium with the No. 60 Acura from Meyer Shank Racing which maintains its advantage over the No. 10 from Wayne Taylor Racing, 5th.

After dominating the first two hours of racing at Road Atlanta, Ben Keating sent the No. 52 PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca into the wall, triggering a Full Course Yellow. The #81 DragonSpeed USA of Henrink Hendman thus inherited the lead in this category, ahead of John Farano (Tower Motorsport #8) and Josh Pierson (PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports #11).

The No. 320 Ligier JS P36 from Andretti Autosport is still in first position in the LM P3s with Gabby Chaves at the wheel, still followed by the No. 54 from Core Autosport and the No. 74 from Riley Motorsports.

Ben Barnicoat now leads the GTD Pro category with the #3 Lexus RC F GT14 of VasserSullivan, ahead of Davide Rigon in the Ferrari n°62 by Risi Competizione and Mikael Grenier on the Mercedes No. 3 AMG GT79 from WeatherTech Racing. Fighting for ranking Endurance Cup, la Corvette C8.R et la Porsche n°9 de Pfaff Motorsports ont perdu gros dans un accrochage.

Acura leads the GTD with its only car entered in this category, the No. 3 NSX GT66 driven by Mario Farnbacher. The German is ahead of Erik Johansson in the No. 4 Paul Miller Racing BMW M3 GT1.
