Nick Tandy and Richard Lietz will be at the wheel of the #911. The 29-year-old Briton has been fighting for several seasons with the Stuttgart manufacturer's cars. He was notably runner-up in the Porsche Supercup and the German Carrera Cup in 2010 before winning the latter the following season. His Austrian teammate has several class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the last one dating back to this year. Patrick Pilet will join them at the 24 Hours of Daytona held on January 25 and 26.
The sister car #912 will be driven by Patrick Long and Michael Christensen. The Californian has won two titles in the GT2 category of the ALMS while the new recruit of the German manufacturer recently highlighted himself by competing in Petit Le Mans with Core Autosport. Jörg Bergmeister will be in reinforcement for the double round of the clock in Florida.
