Scott Dixon with Wayne Taylor Racing for Petit Le Mans and Sebring

Already seen at the wheel of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi-VR during the success of the 24 Hours of Daytona last January with Ryan Briscoe, Renger van der Zande and Kamui Kobayashi, New Zealander Scott Dixon will be lined up again by the American structure for the last two rounds of the 2020 season of theIMSA.

The five-time champion IndyCar and winner of the Indianapolis 500 will compete Small Le Mans at Road Atlanta (Georgia) as well as the new final of the 12 Hours of Sebring (Florida), after the postponement of the event in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

“I'm really happy to be able to race Petit Le Mans and Sebring with Wayne Taylor Racing, indicates the recent winner of the opening round of the IndyCar Series in Texas. I'm glad there was no conflict with the program changes.

We started the year in the best possible way by winning Daytona, so hopefully we can use that momentum to finish strong in the final two races of the season. »

Dixon will thus attempt to achieve two American endurance classics, having already won two podiums at Petit Le Mans at the time with Chip Ganassi Racing. IMSA must resume its rights on July 4 with a 2h40 race at Daytona.
