Sebring: Peugeot will spy on Audi

After a week of intense efforts at Sebring, Peugeot hasn?t finished driving in Florida. Indeed, simon pagenaud, Anthony Davidson and Marc Gené will take the wheel of a 908 HDi FAP on Monday and Tuesday to continue the preparatory work for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. On this occasion, Peugeot will reunite with Audi, which came to drive in Florida for a few tests, while the R15 Plus did not take the start of the 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday morning.

« The next two days, we continue to ride, confirmed Olivier Quesnel on RMC. We are going to find Audi, who only came for the post-race tests. That?s their problem, because nothing replaces racing. We're going to spy on them, watch what they do. For our part, we have already done most of the work. We are still going to drive to validate a few elements but the main thing is done. »

Before seeing the Audi R15 Plus on the track, Olivier Quesnel was able to appreciate the curves of the car from Dr Wolfgang Ullrich's team. “ What I can say is that I will not file a complaint », affirms Quesnel, satisfied with what he saw in photos, a year after the various controversies concerning the legality of the first R15. “ They worked well, the car is beautiful. Their development power is greater than ours because they are only in their second season for the R15. For our part, we are at the end of development because the 908 is in its fourth year. »
