Were you surprised by the speed of Acuras?

The Acuras showed that they were very fast. They were a little more competitive than us, but we showed a fairly competitive pace at the end. It could have been an interesting race with ifs... Everyone's pace, over the entire race, will be analyzed and there will be, in our case, a very long debriefing. We have learned a lot here. There were problems that we had never had before even though we did more than 30 kilometers in testing. There is a lot to analyze.

And by their energy consumption? They seemed to go further on their relays…

This is something that we will analyze, it was very interesting for everyone to see. These guys did a wonderful job. Congratulations to Acura.

What will be the next steps before Sebring?

Avant Sebring, il y aura un test que nous ferons là-bas évidemment. Les prochaines étapes seront que les voitures retourneront à notre base d’opérations Porsche Penske Motorsport à Mooresville (Caroline du Nord) pour y être démontées et beaucoup de débriefings. Le plan de test change tout le temps, c’est aussi quelque chose à laquelle nous devons réfléchir attentivement pour savoir comment nous pourrions le reprogrammer après ce week-end. C’est quelque chose que nous avions à l’esprit : finaliser le plan une fois que nous connaîtrions le résultat de la première course.
