USC – Action Express puts its 2015 Corvette DP on track

Since yesterday, the Corvette DP version 2015 from Action Express Racing, is being tested on the route of Daytona in Florida, which will host the famous 24 Hours, first round of the United Sportscar Championship, from January 23 to 25. The winning team of the Drivers and Teams titles in 2014 was able to test its new bike with its drivers Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi. The latter will be joined for the opening of the season by the French Sébastien Bourdais.

“We have new parts on the car and the new body with the Corvette C7 configuration, and it works well, indicated the Portuguese Barbosa. We test new parts to make sure everything works as expected. The people on the team really did a great job getting everything ready. We can't stand still, we want to win another championship so we have to keep working hard like we did last year and keep developing the car. I'm sure the competition is doing everything possible to beat us. » The new shell of the Corvette notably incorporates modifications to the snout and the engine cover.

Max Papis and Phil Keen, entered in the No. 31 Corvette DP, will take over today to conclude these two days of testing before a new session scheduled for Sebring next week.
