USC – Krohn Racing feels ready for the 24 Hours of Daytona

If Krohn Racing carried out several test sessions to get used to the Ligier JS P2-Judd, the American team was able to compare its performances against the competition during the Roar before the 24 of Daytona (Florida) from January 9 to 11, these tests carried out in preparation for the Florida double clock tower.

The LMP2 of Tracy Krohn and Nic Jonsson associated with Olivier Pla and Alex Brundle for this event performed well during the eight test sessions carried out, consistently finishing in the top ten even though the team only raced in GT until this year. Morale seems to be high for the Krohn Raciing.

“We learned a lot about the car and it was therefore very important to take part in these tests”, said Tracy Krohn. “We have solved an important point with the suspension clips. We have also carried out other very successful tests. I'm not yet satisfied with the traction control, but we will get there. Clearly, things are getting better and better. We had very interesting track conditions, riding both at night and in the rain. Plus there were a lot of cars on the track. The car has always handled well and I am very satisfied to feel such ease. I am also generally satisfied with these tests. There are things we take away from these tests and we will come back ready for the race. »
