USC – The Flying Lizard gives its list for Daytona

Flying Lizard Motorsports will arrive at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) held on January 24 and 25 with a knife between its teeth. The American team lost its GTD victory last year after organizers withdrew a penalty imposed on Level 5 Motorsports, which recovered its trophy. Markus Winkelhock will remain at the wheel of the No. 8 Audi R45 LMS ultra to obtain the team's revenge and will be accompanied this year by the American Robert Thorne alongside Japanese drivers Tomonobu Fujii and Satoshi Hoshino. However, the team will only field one car.

Tomonobu Fujii is a regular in endurance races since he notably won the title in Japan Le Mans GT1 Challenge in 2007, the Super Taikyu Endurance Japan Champion in 2011, without forgetting a podium at the 24 Hours of Dubai 2013. His compatriot knows the R8 LMS ultra well after competing in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 in GT Asia. As for the American, he will return to compete in the Florida double round after seven years of absence.
