This is not one, but two copies of the Porsche 963 who took to the track at Monza this week. The German team brought its new Hypercars for testing at the Temple of Speed, notably with Laurens Vanthoor at the wheel. The two cars were notably spotted by an Internet user, who shared a few video clips on his Twitter account, which you can find below.

The official competition debut of the Hypercar Porsche are still planned for the 24 Hours of Daytona, at the end of January 2023. At least, officially. A presence from the 8 Hours of Bahrain, the final round of the season WEC next November 12 is indeed probable, even if the Stuttgart manufacturer has not yet confirmed its presence.

« The probability of seeing us there is indeed more than very high, Jonathan Diuguid, director of management, told us during the reveal of the livery at Goodwood. We have to make sure the car will be reliable enough beforehand, but you can never be sure of the potential of the team and the car until you have competed in a single race. The first opportunity will be Bahrain this year. We are going to approach it like a full-scale test session, a test race, with the desire to push the equipment in a competition context. But we should not draw conclusions from the Bahrain ordeal. »

In the meantime, the tests continue. Note also that one of the two Porsches seen at Monza was dressed in its simplest form, without any distinctive livery.
