United Autosports recruits at Toyota Gazoo Racing

United Autosports announced this Tuesday, September 20, the arrival with immediate effect of Jakob Andreasen as technical director. The one who was until now racing engineer at Toyota Gazoo Racing in the Hypercar category of the WEC thus takes over from Dave Greenwood.

Jakob Andreasen will work both with the Yorkshire team's LM P2s in the WEC and in ELMS, but also with the LM P3s of the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2022 with Toyota, he will bring his experience of 17 years spent in motorsport across different disciplines. Before the Japanese manufacturer, Andreasen notably worked in Formula E at Dragon and Formula 1Among Williams, Force India or even McLaren.

Jakob Andreasen will be present this weekend with his new team, for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the fifth and penultimate round of the ELMS season.
