The Acura ARX-06 was desired. While Ferrari and Cadillac sent their Hypercar to shakedown last week, the American manufacturer's LMDh, whose chassis is developed by the French manufacturer earca, began its debugging at the Paul-Ricard aerodrome this Friday. It is expected to compete from the 24 2023 Hours of Daytona.

The debugging of the Acura ARX-06 is only just beginning, however, with the car scheduled for this Saturday at the Magny-Cours circuit with Ricky Taylor at the wheel. The shakedown was initially planned for the Paul-Ricard circuit, but the few weeks of delay and the deadline for the French Grand Prix in Formula 1 on the Var circuit (Sunday July 24) forced a relocation of this first test session.
The American firm will continue its collaboration with Wayne Taylor Racing, which already operates Acura's current DPi in IMSA. Filipe Albuquerque, Ricky Taylor and Will Stevens will be in charge of the tests. The presence of this LMDh in 24 Hours of Le Mans However, 2023 is not yet certain.
