12:30 a.m.: Audi resists Peugeot

The No. 2 Audi of André Lotterer maintains the advantage over the Peugeot 908 n°9 by Sébastien Bourdais. But the rain seems to be gradually creeping into the race, with the marshals brandishing flags indicating sudden changes in grip.

Franck Mailleux, driver of the No. 03 Oreca 26, managed to restart while retaining his second place after suffering a puncture. The Frenchman seemed ready to give up when he got out of his prototype, but his team asked him to cool down his overheating engine.

The rain is still light in certain areas, but it is enough to trap several drivers including Loïc duval, who was the victim of an impressive sideways exit in Arnage, which fortunately ended with a simple contact with the wall of tires. Emmanuel Collard, driver of the No. 16 Pescarolo, still took the opportunity to recover fifth position.

Tom Kimber-Smith, leader of the LMP2 category with the No. 41 Greaves Motorsport Zytek, made a mistake and ended up in the gravel trap. But the Briton retained his first place ahead of the No. 26 Signatech Nissan of Franck Mailleux.

Toni Vilander retains the lead in the GTE Pro category at the wheel of his Ferrari n°51 Af Corsica. After being attacked for a moment by Tom Milner, the No. 73 Corvette came back to around forty seconds behind the category leader. The No. 50 Corvette keeps the reins of GTE Am.
