24 Hours of Le Mans – Package of two official Porsche 911 RSRs

Hard blow for the commitment of Porsche Motorsport in GTE Pro 24 Hours of Le Mans. The German brand confirmed this Friday that the two official 911 RSRs, managed by the American entity CORE Autosport, will not be there in Sarthe on September 19 and 20.

Earl Bamber was to team up with Nick Tandy and Matt Campbell when the second car was entrusted to the French Connection Patrick Pilet, Mathieu Jaminet and Julien Andlauer.

At issue for Weissach, the economic situation has become complicated with the coronavirus pandemic and the financial difficulties for manufacturers and travel logistics with the various measures taken by governments.

Two packages which are added to that of Frédéric Sausset's Team SRT41 for Garage 56 and should allow ByKolles in LM P1 and IDEC Sport in LM P2 to recover a place on the grid.
