24 Hours of Le Mans – GEAR Racing moves to GTE Pro

After losing the Porsche 911 RSR n°93 and n°94, as well as the Corvette C8.R n°63 and n°64, the GTE Pro category receives a reinforcement, that of the Ferrari 488 GTE n°81 from GEAR Racing, on which only the Dane Christina Nielsen is currently confirmed.

Initially lined up in GTE Am, the Girl Empowerment Around Racing team is indeed changing category. This brings to four the number of cars hit by the prancing horse in the flagship Grand Tourism category, which now has eight competitors.

Note also that there are only four cars left on the list of reserves, namely the Oreca 07-Gibson n°27 of DragonSpeed ​​USA (Henrik Hedman-Ben Hanley-Felix Rosenqvist) which meets the LM regulations P2, as well as the No. 488 Ferrari 60 GTE of Iron Lynx (Schiavoni-Pianezzola-Piccini), the No. 911 Porsche 89 RSR of Team Project 1 (David Kolkmann) and theAston Martin Vantage AMR n°96 D'Station (Satoshi Hoshino-Tomonobu Fuji), all three of whom are contending for a place in GTE Am.
