24 Hours of Le Mans – Only two seats left to fill!

Apart from the withdrawals of Carlin and Kessel Racing and the arrival of a third Ferrari 488 GTE Evo for Iron Lynx, some changes should be noted on the latest entry list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans (September 19-20), published this afternoon by the ACO.

First of all, the only Ginetta G60 LT P1 entered, namely the No. 6, will be entrusted to the British Michael Simpson and Guy Smith (winner in 2003 with Bentley), as well as Chris Dyson.

In LM P2, there is still one seat to be filled in the No. 07 Oreca 50 from Richard Mille Racing, a car on which only Tatiana Calderon and Sophia Flörsch are currently confirmed. So24-Has by Graff has finally found the teammate of James Allen and Vincent Capillaire on the No. 39 Oreca. This is the Frenchman Charles Milesi, who will therefore make his debut in Sarthe.

In GTE Am, Andrea Piccini moves to the No. 488 Ferrari 74 – a last-minute guest – and gives up his place in the No. 60 to his compatriot Paolo Ruberti. But the main news comes from Jan's participation Magnussen, for which this will be the 22nd start on Le Mans soil.

The Dane will support Maxwell Root and Richard Heistand in the #66 Ferrari entered by JMW Motorsport. A regular in Super GT, Yuhi Sekiguchi (32) will come to lend a hand to Kei Cozzolino and Takeshi Kimura on the No. 488 70 GTE Evo registered under the MR Racing banner but which will be in the colors of Car Guy Racing.

Finally, Horst Felbermayr Jr is preparing to make his return to Sarthe after eight years of absence. The German is expected on the Porsche n°78 of the Proton Competition alongside Michele Beretta and a third driver to be designated. Hugo de Sadeleer will be on the No. 99 defending the Dempsey-Proton Racing banner while “Steve Brooks” will team up with Benoît and Bruno Fretin on the third 911 RSR of Team Project 1, which sports the No. 89.
