24H. Le Mans – Jesse Krohn and Philipp Eng confirmed by BMW

Alongside Martin Tomczyk, Nick Catsburg, António Félix da Costa and Augusto Farfus, regular starters on the two BMW M8 GTEs entered in GTE Pro in WEC, the German brand will trust Philipp Eng and Jesse Krohn to strengthen the crews in 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 15-16).

Philipp Eng will find the Tomczyk – Catsburg tandem on the No. 81 that he supported in 2018, while Jesse Krohn will assist Félix da Costa and Farfus on the No. 82.

Eng, resident of BMW in DTM, has solid experience in the M8 GTE, having won the 24 Hours of Daytona last January. For Krohn, if the M8 GTE is not unknown, the 24 2019 Hours of Le Mans will be its big premiere.

This year BMW will celebrate 20 years of the success of the Dalmas – Winkelhock – Martini V12 LMR.
