32 entered for the 2016 season

32 crews will be entered in 2016 from WEC, the fifth edition of the World ChampionshipEndurance in its current form. Porsche will begin the defense of its two crowns acquired in 2015 with two 919 Hybrids entrusted to the trios Bernhard-Hartley-Webber on the No. 1 and Dumas-Jani-Lieb on the No. 2.

Faced with the LM P1s who dominated the previous campaign, Audi will line up two R18 e-tron quattros for Fässler-Lotterer-Tréluyer on number 7 and Di Grassi-Duval-Jarvis on #8. Toyota will want to return to the top of the podium that the Japanese brand had monopolized in 2014 with two new TS050 Hybrids for Buemi-Davidson-Nakajima on No. 5 and Conway-Sarrazin-Kobayashi on No. 6. Rebellion Racing and Team ByKolles will once again be present with their non-hybrid LM P1s.

In LM P2, G-Drive Racing, winner last year, has joined forces with Jota Sport for 2016 and will field an Oreca 05 in the World Championship. Roman Rusinov will be associated with Frenchman Nathanaël Berthon. Signatech-Alpine and David Cheng Racing will line up Alpine A460 while the great novelty comes from the arrival of the Manor stable who will also be present at 24 Hours of Le Mans.

No surprises in GTE Pro where the Ford GTs will be entered under the banner Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Team UK (the two additional examples at Le Mans being present under the Team USA banner). Larbre Competition will be present in the GTE Am category with a Corvette C7.R.
