6H of Fuji – H5: Toyota on home demonstration

Far ahead of the competition, the No. 8 Toyota is heading towards victory at the 6H of Fuji. The sister car should secure the double.

6H of Fuji – H5: Toyota on home demonstration

Fin de la cinquième heure de course à Fuji et la Toyota n°8 est plus que jamais en tête de la course avec Ryo Hirakawa au volant. Mike conway peaks at 50 seconds on the GR010 hybrid n°7. THE Peugeot 9X8 slowed down by technical problems, theAlpine A480 is isolated in third place and is heading towards the podium.

Robin Frijns is back at the wheel of the No. 07 WRT Oreca 31 – Gibson. The Belgian team is still in first position in its LM P2 category. The two JOTAs complete the provisional podium, but have reversed positions with the #38 of Will Stevens ahead of the #28 of Oliver Rasmussen.

The Ferrari sont seules au monde en GTE Pro, mais c’est désormais Antonio Fuoco qui est en haut du classement, devant son compatriote Alessandro Pier Guidi, remplacé dans la voiture par James Calado pour la dernière heure. La Porsche n°92 occupe la troisième place avec Kévin Estre pour finir ces 6H de Fuji.

The leader has not changed either in GTE Am with theAston Martin Vantage AMR n°33 of TF Sport driven by Marco Sørensen. The Dane has a comfortable mattress on his compatriot Michelle Gatting. Charles Fagg is in third place in another Aston Martin, the No. 777 from D'Station Racing.
