Katherine Legge will be absent from the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Briton was due to race in LMP2 in the all-female Oreca O7 from Richard Mille Racing. But the Briton was injured last July at Paul Ricard during the pre-season tests of theELMS, leaving the track. His participation in the Le Mans classic was uncertain, until his replacement was made official this Tuesday.
Already in the Oreca seat at Spa during the last ELMS round a fortnight ago, Beitske Visser will be at Le Mans, the 25-year-old Dutchwoman has experienced many different series, since we saw her in ADAC Formel Masters, Formula Renault 3.5 Series, GP3 Series, in GT4 and she is the reigning vice-champion in the W Series. She has considerable experience with cars generating a lot of aerodynamic downforce.
She will accompany Sophia Floersch and Tatiana Calderon at the wheel of the Oreca 07.
