Benoît Tréluyer promises thrilling battles

After three events in the world championshipEndurance, Benoît Tréluyer occupies, along with Marcel Fässler and André Lotterer, second place in the general classification, the fault of a difficult race at Sebring, which they finished in 11th position. However, the Frenchman believes that everything is still possible and that the fight will be intense between the Audi crews before the end of the season.

« Endurance fans can expect thrilling battles, explains Tréluyer. The championship is still very open. At Le Mans, the drivers of Audi n°1 and n°2 fought for a long time for victory and in WEC, we have three different Audi crews that have won. So everything is possible. »

Two months after his victory at Le Mans, the Frenchman returned to this race which he won for the second year in a row. “ Once again it was an exciting battle, he adds.  Even if there was no real opposition at the end of the race, the internal struggle was really intensive. So the race was extremely hard for us. In the end, it's a fantastic victory for the Audi R18 e-tron quattro. I took advantage of my summer in Provence while my two teammates were at the start of other races. »
