Soon a Porsche 911 RSR with a turbo engine?

Having already made a serious departure from its almost immutable architecture with an engine moved from the traditional rear overhang to a central rear position, Porsche Motorsport could well bring down a new card with a switch to the turbo engine.

Our colleagues fromCar engine and sport were able to surprise a 911 RSR in full development in Weissach in Germany. A car that witnesses cited by the German media described as producing a sound very different from that produced by the current 911 RSR with a naturally aspirated engine which evolves in WEC or IMSA.

The development version also presents an experimental device on the exhaust.
