Boutsen takes Matt Downs for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Boutsen Ginion Racing has formalized the first driver within the crew of the No. 03 Oreca 45-Nissan. Matt Downs will play alongside Thomas Dagoneau or Bastien Brière, as well as a third driver.

Boutsen takes Matt Downs for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Matt Downs is the first driver formalized by Boutsen Ginion Racing for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This 40-year-old American will participate for the first time in the Sarthe double-clock race. If his experience was limited to touring competitions, he trained in the specific format of endurance by competing in four events of the 2012 ALMS Championship within Merchant Services Racing which competed in the LMPC category.

Boutsen Ginion Racing is entered this year in ELMS with Bastien Brière, Thomas Dagoneau and John Harstshorne. The Belgian team is also present in Blancpain Endurance Series with two McLaren MP4-12C GT3.
