Derani, Menezes and Giovinazzi selected for rookie tests

The organizers of WEC selected Pipo Derani, Gustavo Menezes and Antonio Giovinazzi for the rookie tests of the discipline held in Bahrain on November 20, the day after the last race of the season. These three LMP2 regulars will test an LMP1 for the first time.

Pipo Derani, winner this year at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring with Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports, will test the Toyota TS050 Hybrid. Gustavo Menezes, teammate of Nicolas lapierre and Stéphane Richelmi with Signatech-Alpine and LMP2 leader, will drive the Porsche 919 Hybrid. As for Antonio Giovinazzi, the driver of Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports, leader of the GP2 Series, will take the wheel of the Audi R18.
