Duqueine Engineering at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The absence of Duqueine Engineering from the list of entrants for the 87th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was a big disappointment for fans. And for good reason, Pierre Ragues, Nico Jamin and Romain Dumas, double winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, were announced at the wheel. But the surprise package of Ferrari 488 GTE n°55 from Spirit of Race allows the French team to join the contingent of 60 entrants.

« Participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been my dream since I started my professional career 20 years ago, underlines Yann Belhomme. I couldn't hope for better with Pierre, Nicolas and Romain joining us. I am very happy about it, he is a person that I really like and he will bring all his experience to the Team. »

The Alésien, who feared that his series of consecutive participations would end at 18, is delighted at the idea of ​​being at the start on June 15. He will tackle an unusual feat, winning the Le Mans classic in three different categories, having already triumphed in LM P1 (2010 and 2016) as well as in GTE Pro (2013).

As a reminder, in ELMS, the car will be entrusted to Pierre Ragues, Nico Jamin and Richard Bradley. The list of entries for the 24 Hours of Le Mans now includes eight LM P1s, 18 LM P2s (which is becoming the most extensive category), 17 GTE Pros and as many GTE Ams.
