Ferrari and Aston Martin confirm their third drivers for Sebring

The next round of the 2018-2019 World Championship Super-SeasonEndurance will only take place on March 15, 2019 at Sebring in Florida, but the ACO has already revealed a first provisional entry list.

In LM P1, the main crews (Toyota Gazoo Racing, Rebellion Racing, etc.) are not changing and only the ByKolles Racing team has yet to confirm its trio, which had lined up Tom Dillmann – Oliver Webb – James Rossiter in Shanghai, China last November. In the LM P2 category, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer makes his appearance in the Ligier JS P217 – Larbre Compétition and should therefore replace Enzo Guibbert, entered in China.

Three-way attack in GTE Pro

You have to look to the GTE Pro to see the major changes in the forces involved, with trios retained by Aston Martin, Ferrari and Ford for this American round, Corvette Racing not being (for the moment?) part of it. Remember that this event takes place alongside the round of theIMSA, main program of Doug Fehan's training.

The Aston Martin clan will always line up two new Vantages, entrusted to the crews, Marco Sorensen – Nicki Thiim – Darren Turner and Alex Lynn – Maxime Martin – Jonny Adam, be the associations seen in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. On the Ferrari side, the Calado – Pier Guidi tandem will find Daniel Serra as in Sarthe, when Sam Bird and Davide Rigon will once again be supported by Miguel Molina.

Ford has yet to announce who will support the Pla – Mücke and Priaulx – Tincknell pairs. At BMW, Augusto Farfus will replace Tom Blomqvist in the No. 8 M82 GTE.

In GTE Am, Clearwater Racing broadly reshuffles the crew of the No. 488 Ferrari 61, with Luis Perez Companc and Matteo Cressoni listed alongside Matt Griffin, while Dempey-Proton Racing still has to confirm several drivers. TF Sport will also have to find a replacement for Jonny Adam, retained on the official Vantage in GTE Pro.
