Frédéric Lénart appointed General Director of the ACO

After the new President, Pierre Fillon, we now know the new General Director of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the founding club and organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This is Frédéric Lénart. He succeeds Rémy Brouard, in office since 2008, who has recently been charged with a mission linked to the development of the ACO's activities in Asia.

Aged 46, Frédéric Lénart has been Managing Director of Leroux & Lotz Technologies since 2007, an equipment and service company for energy and the environment. He also worked within the company Ugine & Alz, belonging to the Arcelor-Mittal Group, as Head of management control of the European subsidiaries before becoming General and Commercial Director Europe Central, based in Poland.

“After many years in industry and project management, I am proud to put my professional skills at the service of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest” he underlines that he also holds a DESS in corporate finance and international capital markets, obtained at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris.

“I am very happy to welcome Frédéric Lénart, a man of experience who, with the senior executives, will implement the strategy of the steering committee of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest” adds President Pierre Fillon. The two men will work closely together, ensuring the smooth running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the WEC, jointly organized with the FIA.
