Glickenhaus confirms WEC participation in 2022

If Jim Glickenhaus had affirmed that the absence of his team at the two final rounds in Bahrain was the consequence of a BoP too favorable to Toyota, this raised questions about the continuation of his project. However, this is not the case, and the American team wanted to make this clear by confirming its presence at the World Championship ofEndurance in 2022. Details were even provided on the number of cars entered in the different events: “We are pleased to announce that we will be joining the 2022 season of WEC from Sebring. We look forward to many years of racing together. To be completely clear, we plan to continue after Le Mans with one car at Sebring, one at Spa car and two cars at Le Mans. The number of cars after Le Mans remains to be determined. The Glickenhaus confrontation / Ferrari will take place in 2023.” A final point that is close to the heart of the founder and owner of the team, because the Italian brand is closely linked to his passion for motorsport.
