H+15: Status quo between Toyota and Porsche
Stéphane Sarrazin occupe toujours la tête de la course sur la Toyota n°6 au terme de la 15e heure au Mans. La Porsche n°2 de Marc Lieb rappelle qu’elle est toujours bien dans la partie en prenant la tête au jeu des arrêts, mais la TS050 Hybrid se montre plus frugale en ayant réalisé deux passages de moins par les stands que la 919 Hybrid. La n°5 de Kazuki Nakajima always evolves in the leader's lap.
The Audis still complete the top five, being separated by around ten loops. The leading R18 driven by Lucas di Grassi is still two laps behind the leader of the race.
THEAlpine n ° 36 of Nicolas lapierre stays the course in LMP2 while still ahead of the Oreca 05s of Thiriet by TDS Racing and G-Drive. The second A460 led by Nelson Panciatici has moved up to fifth place and has Simon Dolan's Gibson 015S G-Drive in its sights.
Giancarlo Fisichella keeps the Ford GTs at bay at the wheel of the Valiant Ferrari n°62 of Risi Competizione who has been leading the GTE Pro for several hours. Sebastian Bourdais is half a minute behind the category leader at the wheel of the No. 68, ahead of the No. 69 of Scott Dixon but struggling to catch up with the F488 GTE.
Scuderia Corsa still dominates the GTE Am with the F458 of Jeffrey Segal ahead of the #88 Abu Dhabi Proton Porsche of Patrick Long and the #83 AF Corse Ferrari of Rui Aguas.
