H+21: Toyota No. 5 stands out

The second Japanese LMP1 lost ground on the German car, Kamui Kobayashi having lost almost 20 seconds following a spin at the exit of the Porsche corners. The No. 6 finds itself more than half a minute behind the 919 Hybrid.

THEAlpine No. 36, now driven by Stéphane Richelmi, remains well established at the head of LMP2 with a lead of more than two minutes over the No. 26 of G-Drive Racing entrusted to Will Stevens. The #01 SMP Racing BR37 completes the provisional top three with Vicktor Shaytar ahead of the Strakka Racing Gibson 015S led by Nick Leventis.

The #68 Ford GT of Joey Hand saw its lead increase after Toni Vilander spun the #82 Risi Competizione Ferrari. The Ford GTs of Ryan Briscoe and Billy Johnson are ahead of the No. 95 Vantage of Nicki Thiim. The F458 n°62 of the Team Corsa remains at the top of GTE Am with Townsend Bell.
